Quilt Therapy
do you need a place to sew without interruptions? Need some space to spread out? The classroom at Addicted Quilters will be open from 10am to 5pm for anyone who wants to come & work on projects or just to get away and spend some time with the girls, sharing a cup of coffee or tea, plus sharing tips about basting, embroidery, appliqué’s, quilts or whatever. Your “Quilt Therapist” for the day will be our very own June Fogle. Please sign up at least 2 days in advance.

Learn to finish your quilt neatly and professionally with a continuous double-fold binding. Let our wonderful teacher Harriette Suggs, show you how to master bindings, sizing, miters, etc. $20 + materials

Quilter’s Anonymous
bring in those unfinished projects and join our support group for all those addicted quilters who have projects to finish. Bring in a project you have been working on and just can’t seem to finish or bring in a new project that you would like to start. Meet and make new friends who will enable you in a most loving manner and have some good old-fashion fun in the process.

move over Vera Bradley, there’s a new quilted purse maker in town. YOU! Whether you are a beginner or an expert, learn how to make and customize your own quilted purse. Make an elegant or absolutely wild purse. It’s yours! Let your imagination run wild. Our “Purse-olo-gist” is Ann Bronson and she will make this a wonderful & fun experience for you. Look out…you might become addicted.

Ready, Set, Sew
do you have piles of blocks (you know the ones…from the block of the month, shop hops, etc) crying all by themselves wanting to change into a quilt? Well, this is the class for you and those piles. Learn how to construct a quilt top from sample blocks. You will have access to the design wall to work out possible setting ideas before you commit those blocks to thread.

How Do I Quilt This?
Your blocks are done and your mind’s gone blank from trying to figure out how to begin quilting your quilt. This class is lead by our own Harriette Suggs as an open forum to discuss what to do next, how to get started and to discuss quilt options for blocks, sashing, borders, or edge to edge designs. You will even learn to decide whether to hand quilt or machine quilt.

can’t seem to part with those souvenir t-shirts, old high/college tees or that special t-shirt that no longer fits, but you don’t know what to do with them? Come join us and let our very own wonderful teacher, Harriette Suggs, share some great ideas and learn how to turn those tees into a special memory quilt or pillow cover.

Photo Transfer
would you love to turn your favorite photo into a quilt block? Come learn how to transfer your favorite photo onto fabric and turn it into a quilt block. This class will take you from the beginning step of scanning your photo into the computer, to the ending step of making your photo fit into any pattern, and lots more!
